What's new in SharePoint 2016...
Microsoft’s premier conference “Ignite” held in Chicago widely opened the new exciting and tremendous features that were included in SharePoint 2016. SharePoint server 2016 is the latest version introduced by Microsoft SharePoint team with beta-version as sample before they officially release it in next year. Bill Baer, senior technical product manager for Microsft team said "SharePoint server 2016 unlocks new user experiences that are intuitive, yet familiar" :

Hardware Requirements
It's a great relief to say that there is no much change in hardware requirements when compare to that of SharePoint 2013 including the RAM size.
Disk space : 80 GB
Processor : Quad core
RAM : 12-16 GB for farm server
Upto 24 GB for single server
Software requirements
Some software updates are required to install SharePoint 2016.
Operating system requirement: Windows server 2012 R2
.NET Framework: SharePoint 2016 requires .NET framework 4.5.2
Database: SharePoint server 2016 requires SQL Server 2014 or SQL Server 2016.

Delve is not simplified to unified search results, it gives awesome view in user profile.Cloud hybrid search is one of the exciting features introduced by Microsoft using Delve to help those who are using both office 365 and on premise to access the files stored regardless where it is stored, whether in company server or cloud in a single view.
Compliance Features - more advanced
The In-place Hold policy allows administrators to preserve files and documents and Document deletion policies allow you to delete documents in OneDrive for Business sites after specific period of years.
Scalability improvement
o Supporting large files
SharePoint 2016 provides support for large files up to 10GB and removed restrictions on character.
o Site Creation becomes faster
In SharePoint 2013 to create site collections using template will took about 40 seconds. But now it takes only 1 second to create it. A level of Configuration in PowerShell should be done to setup it.
o Content database size moved up to TB
o 100,000 Site Collections per database (was 20,000) Site collections per database were raised to 100,000 from 20,000.
Patching
Patching can made at any time on servers with zero downtime to the farm, without any disturbance to the users. Patching brought back to 4 MSIs from 37 MSIs in a single patch.
Security level
SharePoint 2016 has concentrated much on security level in SMTP service. For the emails sent from SharePoint encryption is done using TLS connection encryption and the SMTP service will be able to use non-standard ports.
MinRole – To select your role
SharePoint 2016 is taking us to different level to specify our role in the server. During the installation itself MinRole will allow us to assign a role to the server and as a result services will be provided to the server. We can assign a new role to servers if needed.
App launcher – A smart launching
SharePoint 2016 introduces App launcher and UI changes to give us an experience similar to that of office 365. App launcher helps to jump to any field while in cloud, whether we check our site, check our emails or to check the documents in OneDrive, App launcher will be a great shipping platform. It is placed in the top navigation bar.
Durable Links
In SharePoint 2016, links for documents will be working even if we are changing the filename or if it is moved to any other site collection.
New controls for OneDrive
OneDrive for Business became more accessible by providing controls at the top of our personal document folders. OneDrive for Business brings teams together working on documents using a business account and not based on their personal one.
